Die Twilight!
Here’s a link to an article that bears the unfortunate news that the phenomenal writer Neil Gaiman (who was set to write a vampire novel) has decided against in due to the over-saturation of vampire “literature”… if you can call Twilight literature. *sigh* Hopefully he’ll revisit the idea once Twilight and tweeny vampires go away. Please, make them badass assassins of the night again.

You know what’s sad? I work in a bookstore and one of my co-workers is obsessed with Twilight. She’s in her late 20′s. She sports Twilight themed merchandise every day. She doesn’t know how to have a conversation that isn’t about Twilight. She’s surrounded by good literature, but does she care a thing about it? No.
It’s pathetic. And I think there might be millions more just like her.
